a card game for two
Drumbl is a free two-player card game you play in the browser: one link, two phones, one quick, mean match. made for couples, long-distance friends and anyone who wants to beat one particular person. no account, no app.
start a match
- open drumbl.online and tap with friends. a room opens with a four-letter code.
- send the link — or read the code out loud if you're already on a call.
- they open it, type a name and sit down. you deal.
- first to 200 points takes the match. that's two to four rounds, about a coffee's worth.
for couples, near and far
long-distance? put Drumbl in a tab beside the video call and you're at the same table. it's a game that gets louder the longer it goes: draws stack, a swap hands your partner your thirteen cards, and a draw ten can land on someone you love. throw them one of sixteen faces while you're at it.
in the same room? you can still play phone to phone — each of you keeps your own hand private, so it plays like a real deck on the sofa, without the shuffling.
what changes at two
reverse is a skip
with nobody else to turn to, a reverse hands the turn straight back to you. play again.
swap is always personal
there's only one hand to trade with. use it when theirs is small and yours is not.
no scrambles
with two hands a scramble would just be a swap, so they stay out of the deck until a third player sits down.
everything else is the same game: match colour or number, stack draws, and bust at twenty-five cards. all the rules.
no partner to hand?
tap play and pick one bot for the same heads-up match. it works offline once the page has loaded. for three to five people, see playing with friends.
questions
can two people play online?
yes. one of you taps "with friends" and sends the link; the other opens it and sits down. the match is first to 200 points.
is it a good game for couples?
yes, especially long-distance ones. it runs in the browser beside a video call, a round takes a few minutes, and the draw cards make every hand personal.
can we play on one phone?
no. your hand is private, so each player needs their own phone, tablet or computer.
what changes with two players?
a reverse works as a skip, so you play again. scrambles stay out of the deck, since with two hands a scramble would just be a swap. the match is first to 200 points.
is it free?
yes. no ads, no account, nothing to buy.
